Posts: 5 | Alright.listen up,u people should be ashamed of yerselves.lol.this is the nx-01.it so happens that it is my favorite ship.i think he did a great job of taking a shot of the ship at a good angel,i give him credit for that.however,the background seems a tad-how could i put this- lame...  ...he should have had a better resolution as well...but still...im glad someone took a good shot of my ship...i hope others take more shots of them as well. |

Posts: 1598 | The resolution of the pic is perfect, its jus that galaxy in the background. I guess its from some hubble-pic. The low resolution on the background is just like in SFC3.
Its a good shot nevertheless.

Posts: 32 | I like the enhanced glow on this pic. Normally I like them turned off, but there isn't to much of a glow compared to what we have seen in the past. Anyway, I'm happy to get a non-sov pic so this gets a 10/10 for great angle, great ship, and a pretty nice background. Maybe not perfect, but one of the best I’ve seen for a while. Only thing I would change is the*****le, cause that’s kinda been used a lot and its just a bit trite.

Posts: 528 | People are free to nag about whatever they want to. No matter how you look at it, the NX-01 is the worst designed starship in Trek model history, period, end of discussion. It simply doesn't fit in the place it was put. It'd make a pretty good TOS era ship (Mid to late 2200s), but not something as far back as when http://www.starfleet-museum.org/uesn-fleet.jpg <--these are supposed to be state-of-the-art vessels. |

Posts: 1598 | Dont watch Enterprise if you hate the ship so damn much. Also if you expected the first Enterprise to look like some ugly TOS, then you arent that bright. You cant expect that old looking ships to be in a series in the year 2003.
You cant just take that TOS ship and put it in a show today, it doesnt fit in. And those "state-of-the-art" ships you linked to, man the Enterprise series would look like some low budget, 80ies sci-fi...so the whole discussion about that they should have put in a true TOS ship is rediculous. If you like TOS watch TOS, Enterprise isnt TOS.
Personally I think the NX-01 is beautiful, nice detail on it, etc. |

Posts: 528 | Stop smoking crack. Any of those ships, with the right 3D rendering, could have looked just as good as the NX-cl*****, or even better. And it definately would have fit much better into the timeline. If you think about it, the Daedalus-cl***** was launched in 2158..7 years AFTER the NX-01. In the Earth/Romulan war, 2156 to 2160, the primary starship weapons were laser cannons and nuclear missiles. So where's Enterprise get these 'Phase cannons' and 'Photonic warheads'?
Enterprise is doomed to go down as the worst Trek series in history. Especially from a liniar technical standpoint. |
