Last Stand for who? The textures are great. But the multiple suns get in the way so it is a little confusingconfused. Also, an ambassador would be able to take on both of those ships. Otherwise, Nice pic!!Two Thumbs Up!cool

IF it's supposed to be a recreation of the so famous TNG episode "Yesterday Enterprise": It's not the right type of ambassador, and not The Ent-C. IF NOT, it's a greeat scene and deserves a 8 (-2 because of the excess of suns and light flares).

Also an recreation of the "yesterday's enterprise" against klingons would be odd, because the enterprise was destroyed in defending a klingon outpost against romulans...

It seems rather presumptuous to say that this is a recreation of "Yesterday's Enterprise". First off, it doesn't say that it is. Secondly, appearance that the Klingons are attacking the ship suggests otherwise. Thirdly, it looks like the registry on the Ambassador class ship isn't the Enterprise.

This is close as you could get to recreate the battle with the ENT-C against the Romulans. As far as I'm concerned, the Ambassador IS the right type but not the right ship. Keep in mind, by the making of Bridge Commander, the Ambassador was retextured. Personnaly, I like this version better than the one that was featured on "Yesterday's Enterprise". The idea of having warp coils all over the narcells just didn't look right. Also, I noticed that on the battle cruiser, which is blowing up, that the narcell color appears to be Green not Blue. Most of you do recall the short lived alliance between the Romulans and the Klingons during TOS(maybe it should be reclassified, something like "Enterprise 1701 Era" ) which at that time both sides were trading ships. And to my knowledge, It was only mentioned that Romulans did in fact attacked the Klingon Outpost BUT there was no mention of what type romulan vessels was used at the time. Of course I could be wrong. Regardless, This pic is well done and definately would look good as a background. Keep up the work.

Really good setup of ships, nicely captured explosions and weaponsfire. But that overkill-system brings the good feeling down.

That system is only good for beautyshots I guess. It kinda takes away the focus off the great battle.

6/10

Actually, it is canon knowledge that the Ent-C was destroyed by 3 Melak Warbirds, so there is no way this could be a recreation of Yesterdays Enterprise. The closest you could get with the Stock Game is to have an outpost, 3 Warbirds, and an Ambassador. And the Ent C was supposed to be coming in for a Refit to make her look like the Ambassadors in DS9, but responded to the distress signal sent by the Klingon Outpost before she was destroyed.

It probally wouldn't be much of a refit other than a newer narcells and system upgrades. But if that was the case, wasn't the other Ambassador Class Ships had that refit way before DS9? I swore a seen one on a TNG that looks like it didn't have that refit. Of course, that model was much smaller than we see now. As far as the stock models go, I think it would be a overkill considering that the TNG warbirds are more powerful than the Melak warbirds. Cosidering if 2 of the TNG warbirds can cause serious trouble for a Galaxy Class ship, 3 of them would kill a Ambassador within 5 minutes. Then again, if Captain Garrett used hit and run tatics, they would last longer.

I believe that in the episode, "Yesterdays Enterprise" captain Garrett explicitly states that they were under attack by "four warbirds".

I just confirmed what you just said about the amount of warbirds present during the ENT-C battle with the romulans. Here is a passage from the TNG episode synopsis from Startrek.com....

"The crew identifies the mysterious vessel as their ships' immediate predecessor, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-C, believed to have been destroyed in battle over 20 years ago. Their own crew now includes Tasha Yar, the ex-security chief who was killed in the line of duty. Meeting with the captain of that vessel, Picard learns that it was responding to a distress signal on a Klingon outpost when it was attacked by FOUR Romulan Warbirds. But in the middle of the assault, the ship broke through the space rift, thus saving it from the destruction recorded in the history books."

I think this is great. This has a natural feel to it, and is very easy to understand just by looking at the pic. It tells a story without words, and I love the muliple sun glares. 10/10, and if I could 20/20.

I don't know what some of you are talking about - "Too Bright" "Distorted Pic"...

This pic is the best pic I've seen in a very long time. 10/10 for the lighting, the flares, the disruptors, the ships, all perfect.

You guys really need to get better graphics cards. Then you could see what I see. smile

Same here. 10/10 for an awesome pic of a battle with the Klingons (or Federation). Love the disruptors and I don't quite mind the sun flares. I'd say it actually makes the pic better. stick out tongue

Which of course makes it so much the better. You know, just by looking at the pic, that the Klingons will honor the Feddies as worthy advasarys. 10/10
