I would consider downloading these though it would be an unfair advantage. i mean these ships would have no chance againt the pride of the federation.

The top is called a "Mon Calimari - Mon Remona" (dunno exact spelling).
And the bottom is a "Mon Calimari - Mon Calimair Crusier".
Never seen the middle one though.
I only know the name cos i got a SW technical ship manuel for my 12th birthday, and so am aquainted with ALOT of SW vechicles. |

It is a little dark, you might have wanted to put the camera on the other side to catch the light. Not bad though, 7/10! |

Yeah, the pic is a little dark. I took it while I was still beta testing all of the ships. I can't even get BC to work anymore.
But don't hate, people. The votes were cast, and SW won out. Don't fill the thread with stupid crap and try to start problems just because an injustice was righted. SW mods exist in BC, they will always exist in BC, and thus they have full right to be posted as PoTD. Period, end of story. |

It is a shame that the ships are so dark when the picture heralds the return of SW pics from the shadows. But if it shows to everyone that this modding site will now allow any POTDs from any of the mods it has had for so long, then so be it.
And if you don't like it, don't click on the picture in the first place. The majority of the users do not have to suffer just because of the silly childish extremism of the few - we've had that recently before and the site overcame it. |

You've got the Reef Home-cl*****, which is the Home One
The Independance-cl*****, the standard MC80.
The MC80a Liberty-cl*****. 'Winged Calamari Cruiser'.
The MC80b Remonda-cl*****.
Then you've got the MC90 Defiance-cl*****, the MC40 Lusla-cl*****, and a few others that appear in a few games and novels. XWA was way off on it's Calamaris. And if you'll notice, these aren't stock XWA models. They were made by JM. He thinks his own models suck, but I think they're fantastic. Ad the NetImmerse engine really brings them out. |

POTD comments are to be about what you see in the picture. There will be no "who's tech can beat who's" debates, or flamming over SW pix being allowed in POTD. The Independances hangers aren't at the front of the ship, they're on the sides in the middle, 2. there are more larger pods placed randomly around the ship, and 3. the Independance doesn't have that tubular thing on the back, top of it. The Ship on the top is not the same cl***** as the Independance, aka Home One. |

Posts: 528 | Nope. I did some research. Seems there's a lot of conflict between the Anonomys Pearly Wingless's (Top one) cl***** name. Some say Independance, some say Reef Home. In the next release, which will include the Home One, the Home One will get the Independance cl*****ification, and the Wingless will get the Reef Home cl*****ification.
And just to set the record straight, there is no MC85. Home One (Independance?) was an MC80. Pearly Wingless (Reef Home) was a MC80. Liberty was an MC80a. Remonda was an MC80b. Reef Home and Liberty are the same size. 1,200 meters. Home One was 3,100 meters. Quite a bit bigger. Home ONe's not in that picture thou. The biggest ship in that picture is the Defiance, in the center, at 1,255 meters. |
