Lol Killa, it seems you've got the same problem with clipping phasers as I do stick out tongue

Excellent action pic, classy ships, jpeg compression a bit too high but since 1 voter already hit your pic, I'll give ya 10 instead of 9 wink

Ok, I don't get the caption but I do, however, like the pic. Really making the ol' 1701-A (That IS right, isn't it?) shine here. Though, I think the K'tinga (Right?) could be a bit closer, so it is more of a 'knife-fight'.

9/10

It seems to do that quite a bit on BCF McCoy, it looks a lot nicer on BCC. wink and the clipping phasers are a B*****d.

Harrierfan, the term comes from RAF pilots who engage in close quarter dogfights. Someone is going to get stabbed and there is very little room to manouver. Also this the TOS Ent. wink

I know what 'knife-fight' means, it's the 'phonebox' bit that throws me.

Generally little room to manouver, and that one miss placed step would get you killed.

It's a colloquialism, usually referring to something that won't take very long or to a very bad idea. At least that's how I've heard it used.

I guess it could also apply to something excessively brutal, but it does seem out of place as the caption. Anyway, good pic at least.
