Posts: 1823 | That's the part that didn't make sense with the Yesterday's ENTERPRISE story line. It sort of violates the undiscovered country story line. There should be no way that the Klingon's could have mounted an offensive against the Federation after the destruction Praxis

Posts: 504 | @Saquist: You need to remember that there are about 50 years between the Battle of Khitomer and the Battle of Narendra III. In that timeframe lots can happen.

Posts: 461 | 22 years is a long time. There are many things that could have happened during that period. Maybe the Klingons weren't much of a threat in the first few years. Later on they allied with some other races, secretly built up their forces and launched a massive surprise offensive that devastated major parts of the Federation. All went downhill from there. |

That would be about the only way because they the Federation was making ships there is no way the Klingons could sacrifice resource to rebuild Kronos and fight the Federatioin. They had to have an ally or something.. Cause I'm thinking...If the Romulans were attacking Klingon's then why the heck did they stop...

Posts: 121 | Rebuilding Kronos? I thought it was the moon of Praxis, that exploded. That event crippled the Klingon "economy" and thus were unable to mount any type of resistance for the forseeable future. In fact, without any changes, it was estimated that the entire Klingon race would die out within 50 years.
My thinking, is that the Klingons got help from the Federation to rebuild their economy, and get them back on their feet. After the incident at Narendra III (in the timeline where the Ent-C disappeared), the Klingons decided to do a total 180 on the Federation, knocking out whatever outposts possible, annexing hostile planets and ultimately on the verge of overthrowing the Federation.
On the subject of the pic... 9/10. Aint often you get POTDs with Klingon ships, and the caption is certainly thought-provocating. |
