The Resolution is a little on the low Side and FSAA would have increased the Quality more, but - to Hell with it. I like this Pic as it is. Nice Motive, Lightning, Angle and Background.

not sure about the sovvie and starbase.
The suns are deffenetly added. BC don't have suns like that.
It looks good, but the heavy editing brings down the grade.

Too bad the picture really has nothing special about it.

Borg_Drone Joined: August 22nd, 2002 Posts: 1598 | At first I didnt see those 2 flares "suns", thought u ment two planets = binary system
My mistake.
Paintshop pro flares.
Angle is morbid.
I love the background nebula or whatever it is, therefore 2/10 |
MatschKlon Joined: May 25th, 2003 Posts: 379 | Now wait a Second. I do know that Background Pic, but if I remember correctly it is not orange but more like a red/purple Kind of Color. Could it be that there is even more Tempering behind this Pic than we thought? |

Well, whatever, I like the picture. The flares bring it down heavily, and there could've been some feathering on the planets to make them look less jagged (since there seems to be no fear of editting this pic, why not go the whole hog?). Also there should've been some blurring on something to give a sort of depth of field. Only then will I accept an editted PotD as something worthwhile. 3/10. |
starforce2 From: (Minnesota) Joined: May 4th, 2003 Posts: 775 | And the pic is perfectly fine without the obvious "white dots for suns" which is why I just ignored them. The res is a result of the distant angle, and I think the pic is great. |

This is totally off the subject, but, if you copy a snoflake thats falling . . . it will look like hail. Copy a snowflake on the screen, then move your mouse around. The screen should get a white glaze. When it does leave it, and it will look like hail!
#5 is right the editing does bring down the grade.
Its still a good pic though!
