  Overhaul of ships catagory to begin soon - Site News

I am hoping that I can get time sometime this week to begin changing the ships catagory around. Fed ships will be where we begin. This involves removing outdated mods and making sure they are targeting the newest file, comment screening, and checking to make sure every ship has atleast 2 decent quality pictures. During this time things may be moved around to places they shouldn't be and catagories my be made or deleted. Also, there is occasionaly a problem when a new catagory is created, any files moved to it will not download because the script that moves them doesn't create the folder on the file servers with the same name as the catagory. This means we need to add a file to it to create the folder, so you may see an asortment of dummy files added and then suddenly deleted off and on. Now, the start date of sometime this week is iffy...who knows when the site is going to crash next, but hopefully once it starts it wont take long to finish.

Posts: 52 		I've been looking forward to this. The categories (especially Fed) are starting to get really cluttered). Will this include moving all ships to their proper categories (TNG, TOS, TMP, Stock replacement, etc.), and also, will similar categories be created for other races like the Klingons (like TOS, TNG, TMP)?

Posts: 99 		THANK YOU Starforce 2..... ive been playing with stock ships for the past few days (i alternate every few months beetween EF1 & 2, BC, And Armada, and i left to wait for nanoFX 2) so now i can get my ships back cuz i prefer going through categories and getting everything i like wich as we all know is a pain with the Federation catagory..... so know i can test nano effects with a proper ship.......... tnx again......................
