  Andreas Katsulas Remembered - Trek Family Deaths

Andreas Katsulas, Best known for his Trek reoccurring roles as "Commander Tomalak" in Star Trek: The Next Generation and as "Ambassador G'Kar" of Babylon 5. Has passed away of Lung Cancer on March 13th at the age of 59. Though his acting credits are numerous in both Television, Stage and the Big Screen, I believe he made a "Definite Mark" in the Sci-Fi universe! Providing us with "unforgettable" characters within a broad range. It was always a treat to see his works in both Star Trek: The Next Generation as the irascible Romulan Commander "Tomalak" and in Babylon 5 as the dignified and indomitable Narn Ambassador "G'Kar". His last Star Trek appearance was in the ST: Enterprise's second season episode " Cogenitor " as the Vissian Captain "Drennik".

Posts: 142 		Damn.....I had no idea he had lung cancer. I wonder how long he had the disease?. Andreas Katsulas was one of those actors that provided us with very memrable characters in the past like G'kar. That role was made for a guy like him which he just relished it. If there is anyone in the world would rivial the likes of Patrick Steward, It would be him. I will miss him as the whole Sci-Fi world will also. Thank you, Mr. Katsulas.....Cry

Posts: 148 		I had no idea another one has died! Damn humanity's wastful ways, he got lung cancer because of the way we are poisoning earth! The more harm we do to our earth , the more it will harm us! We need to help our fellow man and make the world anew, and pray too God for forgivness. If we would have done that before our favorite loved actors would not die in such horrible ways!

Posts: 695 		Thanks for that link. I truly belive Mr. Katsulas's best works were on Babylon 5. Such powerful acting, a rare thing to be seen in the current sci-fi shows these days.
