	BCFiles Official Site Rules
1)	Equal Treatment Clause: BCFiles.com rules apply to everyone - regardless of where you live, how many mods you have here, skin color, religion, sexual preferences and so on. All rules apply the same those in countries that allow free speech
2)	Staff's Decision Is Final: If you have any problem with what a member of BCFiles Staff has said/done, please contact the Admin or Vice Admins. Do NOT* argue in public. Disrespect of any kind to Staff in the comments areas will not be tolerated. Nor will telling the Staff how to do their jobs.
3)	3-Strikes Rule: If you need to be banned for a 3rd time, for any reason, the 3rd ban is a permanent one. This does not entitle you to 3 chances, as serious offenders can still be permanently banned at any given time as BCFiles staff see fit. If you reregister to bypass a permanent ban from comments, you will be banned from the entire site under both (and further) account names.
4)	No Flaming or Harassment: Flaming, including grade school level insults such as "jerk" and "idiot", will now be an automatic ban. Calling something "gay" to mean "stupid" or "dumb" or anything negative like that qualifies here. As does any outright uncalled-for rudeness to others. Harassment of authors are not tolerated either. *Flaming or harassing Staff is an automatic 2 week ban.
5)	No Swearing: Swearing, and the use of other vulgar or sexually explicit words, is not allowed on BCFiles.com. Depending on the vulgarity of the word, you may receive a warning, or an immediate ban. The words "damn" and "hell" are acceptable. If you want to swear, you can always sensor yourself by using ** (like this: That’s a F*en awesome ship!" We’ll know what you mean. )
6)	Mod Theft/Accusations Of Theft: Anyone making accusations of mod theft publicly, or anyone who is PROVEN BY STAFF INVESTIGATION to have knowingly released an object without permission, or who has credited himself/herself for the work of others will be banned. If you want to report a stolen mod, contact a member of staff with proof. No person shall comment or question the permissions or credits of a mod in a public comment unless they are the owner of the file, or someone who was involved with the mod at some point and is therefore in a position to know what is correct. If you think something is wrong with credits or permissions, you should contact bcfiles staff, or if you are not the author, contact the author and let that person deal with it. Authors are responsible for enforcing their own rights.
7)	Warez: Any discussion of pirate software (no-cd keys, cracks, ect), even if it is legal where you live, is not allowed on BCFiles.com and will result in an immediate ban.
8 )	No Advertising: Do not advertise mods or sites in the Comments Sections, period. Even if it is your own file. Only the posting of alternative download sites or links to help related inquiries is allowed if someone needs one; the staff will determine the difference. Those who violate this rule will receive an automatic ban
9)	Spamming And Thread Hijacking: "Spamming" (offtopic and useless posts such as "yay, first post!”) and "Hijacking" (intentionally diverting the topic of the comments, like by starting a debate that has nothing to do with the File/News/Picture/Etc above) will not be allowed. The topic of the comments is to be of the File, News, Poll, POTD, etc. posted above, ONLY. All "yay first post" will now result in a ban of 5 days, and a deletion of the offending post. "Spelling Police" (those who point out and rudely comment on spelling / grammar errors) will not be tolerated either. English is not the native language of everyone.
10)	Reporting Errors: Complaining about mistakes in the posting of a file, such as wrong developer or screenshot or other errors should be done over e-mail or PM, NOT in the Comments Sections. Posts that complain about lack of screenshots or other problems will be considered spam and ignored/deleted. The Staff will determine if a warning or ban be needed for multiple-public-complainers that choose not to email the Staff of something possibly overlooked. All technically-related issues/inquiries of a mod should be brought to the forums, and not be posed in the Comments Sections.
11)	Sexual Or Pornographic, Racist, Sexist, Anti-Religious, and other adult or vulgar material posted on the site in any form (text, links, images) in any place (POTD submissions, submit links section) will result in an immediate ban. Remember, this site is PG-13 (as you must be 13 to register without a parent.) Registering with a vulgar username will result in an immediate ban and deletion of all posts.
12)	Abuse of site functions: Using the various functions of the site, such as "Submit POTD" or "Submit Links" in ways other than they were intended, or submitting inappropriate or off topic material (spam) will result in an immediate ban.
13)	Political and Religious discussions banned: Real world politics and religious debates, preaching, sermons, election advertising, and other similar material have nothing to do with modding Bridge Commander and thus DO NOT BELONG ON BCFILES. Starting such a debate or discussion will result in an automatic 2 week ban.
14)	Re-registration/duplicate accounts (anyone using duplicate accounts to "talk to themselves") will result in a ban of all accounts related.
