This map is incredible, Its the Briarpatch from Star Trek Insurrection!
Looks very good, It made me want to watch the movie again.
It's also the first map I've seen to contain ground based targets.

Readme File:
This is a modification of the original game Star Trek:Bridge Commander by
Totally Games and Activision. Neither party has authorized this mod, and therefore
bear no responsibility to any affect it may have on the game. Buyer Beware!

REQUIREMENTS:
Star Trek: Bridge Commander version 1.0 OR 1.1
"Foundation" plug-in system version 5/26/02 (or later)

It does not require, but it does work with the Bridge Commander Mod Packer.
The BCMP is really for ships, so it does not interfere with System mods. This
means you should be able to use any existing Foundation-compatible ship in
these star systems. Many of these systems are high-end designs, so slower
machines choke a bit.

INSTALLATION:
Unzip into your Bridge Commander program folder, being sure to keep the
directory structure intact. When you next start Bridge Commander, immediately
go to "Configure," BEFORE you choose Quick Battle. Under the heading for
"Mutators" there should now be an option for "BanzaiZAP SystemPack."

DETAILS FOR SYSTEM PACK 8

1) Find your Bridge Commander directory, usually:
C:/ Program Files / Activision / Bridge Commander

2) Unzip into this folder. It will create some new folders and files. It will only
replace files if you have a previous System Pack installed.

3) When you next start Bridge Commander, immediately go to "Configure,"
BEFORE you choose Quick Battle.

4) Under the heading for "Mutators" there should now be an option for
"BanzaiZAP SystemPack."

The installed files will include ( [BridgeCommander] is your current program folder):

[BridgeCommander] scripts Systems *new custom system folders*
[BridgeCommander] data Backgrounds High treknebulabz1.tga

System Pack 8 includes a new background graphic which is used in the Stellar
Nursey system. Installation should create a new file in "data/Backgrounds/"
High, Medium and Low folders called "treknebulabz1.tga" This image is of the Gas
Pillars in M16 taken from a deep Hubble shot.

System Pack 8 includes the following star systems:
Arena A: Compact star system with a variety of locations for ambushes
Banzai System: Binary star system with population
Briar Patch: Small system tucked into nebulae, as seen in ST: Insurrection
Comet: Comet with tail drifting past a Cardassian Starbase
GroundTarget Set: Attack ground targets in a variety of environments
Junk Yard: A variety of wrecked ships drifting in an asteroid field
Khan: Wrath of Khan system with nebula
Stellar Nursery: Stars being born in Pillars of Creation
Rainbow System: Rainbowed star, and flyable gas giant
Smoke Ring: Dwarf star with a gaseous torus around it
Wolf 359: Battle site of Borg vs Starfleet

I have left the Pythons uncompiled, so others can use this as a template to
modify. More advanced systems are forthcoming, including orbiting
stations, etc.
