|Uss Vesta (1.0) - File Description
Description:
The Vesta class had entered service by September 2380. The class is named after the Roman goddess of hearth and home and only seven ships of her class are currently in servise and are named after the seven hills of Rome (Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal and Viminal).
The class was designed as a multi-mission explorer with state of the art technologies and a number of experimental technologies, including quantum slipstream drive, mark XII phaser cannons, a multidimensional wave-function analysis module, a sympathetic fermion transceiver, and a chroniton integratorto take sensor readings several seconds into the future when the ship was using its slipstream drive.
The Vesta Class was found to be one of the few Starfleet classes able to mount an effective defense against the Borg and were assigned to defend the Federation's core systems, including Sol, Vulcan, Andor and Tellar.
dimensions: 672 meters long, 182 meters wide, and 87 meters tall

Readme File:
you will need to have installed the bridge commander patch
[ http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Bridge_Commander_Patch;2374 ]
and of course the Foundation (which can also be found in BCut and KM and follow the readmes )
For some ships I do recommend (it is fun , for some ships, but good to have installed anyway)
if you have Kobayashi Maru, many things (read the readme) are included, However if you Have Kobayashi Maru,
Do NOT reinstall the Foundation or shuttle Launch framework.

Finally! I love it!
However, I also agree on the deflector. It could be a bit smaller. Though, since we only have one existing picture of the Vesta-Class, this is absolutely fantastic.

If you look close enough, you can see a ship built around that deflector dish.
Interesting, but big dish seems like overkill.

Pretty good ship, and fun to use. For some reason, I don't get any sfx when the rear torps launch, but otherwise good effort.

at first i didn't like the deflector...but now after reading the tech specs, and the fact that it has slipstream drive and deflector technologies that are new, the deflector makes sense. I bet that metal contraption at it's base is what reads stuff in the future or is used in the slipstream capacity somehow. 9/10.
I really don't like the nacelle pylons, they're too funky i've decided. but i do like the submarine look to her, and the TMP window's and saucer rim. that was definatley a nice touch.
