Note: The Venture cl***** is a long-range armed shuttlecraft, seen in Insurrection (i believe) as the shuttle Data was flying to the planet. Again, I'm not sure... But it is a shuttle.

Yes, but the Galaxy Cl***** Venture itself has a distinguished history in DS9 and also gets a mention in the 'Universe' map from the map packs here on bcfiles, where it will soon be stationed...

The scout ship is the 'Venture Cl*****', whereas this 'Galaxy Cl*****' is the 'USS Venture'.

Anyone know what textures this has? Is it C2 gal, or P81? Or is it entirely new?

Ok i answered my own question by looking at screenies. It is P81 textures- and model, since it has the very square nacelles- but with those whatever they are things on top of the nacelles, which I know are a feature of the venture I just cant remember what.

Those are phaser mounts on top of the nacelles, giving this version of the Galaxy cl***** better fire coverage in combat.
