| Titan Class (2.0) - File Description |
 |
Balance: 7 Quality: 8 Stability: 6 Creativity: 3 Size vs. Usefulness: 6 Installation Instructions: 9
Overall Rating: 6.5 | Description: Here Is Version 2.0 of Atlom and Wicked Zombies Titan Class - a kitbash of a galaxy and a sovereign. The textures are reasonably good however mesh could be improved on. As it said in the description of version 1.0 the ship looks very ugly. The Galaxy Deflector has The Sovereign one placed over the top of it.
The Ship Could Possibly Be made a bit stronger. I Tested it against 3 romulan valdores, then 2, and finally 1. It could only really withstand a long fire fight with 1 valdore. It Is Equipped with 300 Photon Torpedoes it has 4 forward and 2 aft torpedo launchers You Can Fire 7 Torpedoes at a time from the forward tubes and 6 at a time from the aft tubes.
The Ship Is Compatible with the launching framework as there are shuttle bays and shuttlebayOEPs in the hardpoints

Special Note: I haven't added glows to this model because, imho, they just don't look real enough for a fed ship in-game. Last I checked, warp glows didn't look like little blue balls of light ;-)
However, if you don't have a pyschotic perfectionist attitude like me, feel free to add them. If you wish to release such an altered version, please follow the guidelines below.
Model made/edited using: Lightwave 5.6, 3d Studio Max 3.1, Paint Shop Pro 7, Uview, Taldren's .mod plugin
I have no problem with kitbashes/conversions as long as the following procedures are followed:
1.) Everyone involved with the kitbash/modification is to be credited. That includes the original model author(s), anyone involved with the design (if different from the modeler), and the person who created the alteration. This will set up a history of the modifications and give credit to all involved.
2.) If a ship is to be converted to another game (Bridge Commander, Armada, Klingon Academy, etc.) I have to be contacted first. I prefer being notified of ANY alterations to my work as most times the credits are not listed properly, the ships aren't converted correctly, etc.
3.) If the ship is to be released to the public, no parts from a restricted model are to be used. Some modelers don't want their work to be altered and I would expect everyone to respect that. If there is a part or parts that are restricted, I can possibly create a replacement for you to use.
4.) If the ship is to be released to the public, I would ask that you contact me first. This is to make sure you have the proper credits listed and to make sure no restricted parts are being used. On some occasions people have credited me for work that I have never seen before.
5.) All work on this site is property of the respective owners. If anyone attempts to steal or take credit for work they did not do, I will hunt you down and feed you to a pack of bloodthirsty wolves.

-Hardpoints & Weapons Readme File-
Hardpoints - Darkthorne
Quantum Torpedos - Starbright (renamed the file and changed properties a bit but the original credit for the torpedoes belongs to him)
Phaser Testures - Cronocidal Guy
Inspiration for the phaser arcs on this goes to Elminster I just loved how he did the Galaxy Phaser arcs on that ship.
Future Projects:
I have a Nemesis Hardpoint Varient to to the Titan that is 90% complete, I just have to finish adjusting the Phaser arcs on it.

Total comments: 6 | Last comment: 12-30-2005 at 18:17 heres my lil bit of constructive critism. not tryin to be mean. As this one looks a thousand times better then the last version. it looks you you scaled the neck down which was good. but the impulse engines still look alil, odd to me. Make them more stream line instead of direct output, thats the whole reason the sov is so manuverable is cuz they can have maximum downward thrust when needed. Upward thrust on a sov is lacking but thats cuz the reverse gas release isn't as powerful (the underside of sovs do have them if you look hard enough) so i think they should be more streamlined like a sovs. plus it would just look cool.
second, the nacells are, interesting in there own sense. but i would like to see a more streamlined nacell and warp grill. these are alil blocky, round out the bottom and the sides just alil, but keep the genral shape, and i think it would be perfect.
so other then some streamlineing, id say this ship is good to go. i'll try her out and see what shes got.
Gee my first published hardpoint. (too bad I am not listed except in the credits .. and the nemesis version of the hardpoint is now being beta tested soon as thats done I will submit it
I noticed this ship has a quantum turret, but it won't fire. You can see it on the ship weapon status display. It's just on top of the ship's forward photon torpedo launcher. I had it destroyed on the ship a couple of times too. Anybody know what the deal with that?
I am harsh on judgment, but for a reason. That is simply to get them to prove too me that it is worth my time. Well, this ship looks horrible.
while you are entitled to your opinion, no one has to prove anything to you to whether or not it is "worth your time"... you dont need to crap all over someone's work either, and call everything "horrible" - i suggest you keep such harsh comments to yourself (thats not a request, btw) here on out, or they will simply be deleted... youve already been suspended for rudeness in your comments... keep in mind the aphorism "if you havent got anything nice to say, say nothing at all", or learn to be a bit more tactful in your critiques, please...
Its an interesting ship, could be worked on but is alright for now... 8/10, not bad but i've seen better
