Description:
This Hardpoint file give the sabe an aft phaser and torpedo tube, 3 foreward torpedos, and removes the quantums. It also makes the shields and hull basicly paper. I do believe the forerunner to the defiant class should be able to take a little more beating that this. I was destroyed by a galor very quickly. I can't say the phaser arcs are improved, I can't fire at anything directly infront of me, which is the type of attack a small fast ship like this would use. I did more damage to that Galor with the hardpoint that originaly came with Cleeve's saber.

Readme File:

New hardpoint file for Cleeve's Sabre-class.
By: ThunderchiId

Changes: Improved firing arcs.
Aft torpedo tube.
Two aditional forward torpedo tubes.
Aft Phaser array.
No more quantums..A Sabre wouldn't have them.
Shields and hull redone for more canon results.

To install:
Back up your old Saber HP file, just in case.
Extreact into a temporary folder.
Drag or copy this file into the scripts/ships/hardpoints folder
Fire up BC
Enjoy.

Posts: 528 		I'm sending in another file with fixes..a few things I forgot to add in this release..but I'm leaving the hull and shields the ame..It's a scout ship..not a warship..It's made to get in, scan, and run like hell. It's got a single, non-armoured hull..that basicly IS paper thin..Shielding output is only 189,000 TJ..That's also basicly paper..I tried to keep the ship as realistic as possible. As for the phasers, they're just about perfect. The dorsal arrays are only supposed to provide dorsal-port and dorsal-starboard protection, respective. The update I'm sending includes the forward Type VIII emitter that I forgot to install..so..hopefully you'll like it better.
