Description:

I felt it was time to give the Star Wars Ships a more canon way to go to overlightspeed. In this package there are custom Hyperdrive plugins included with custom Hyperdrive entry and exit sounds. It also contains my first texture for BC, the drop off and flash texture loaded when a ship goes into Hyperdrive or exit it. It also contains custom Hardpoints for the ships to give them only the ability to use the Hyperdrive mod released in the Stargate Ship Pack V 3.0. You must have installed this mod on your BC install otherwise you won't be able to leave a system, because the Warp engines have been completely removed from these ships in this package!!

did you know that standard TIE-fighters and bombers didn't have hyperdrive?; they were strictly tied to their motherships.

looks great and lionus come on, perhaps by a star trek technobabble, the tie and bomber were sucked into a hyperspace corridor?

The original scipts had a warpdrive, so I thought they can go on hyperdrive....???

"@3 - Yes the original scripts may have allowed all the Star Wars ships to go to Warp, but should they have? I mean it's not like the Death Star could travel through Hyperspace!!!!"

But then again, how did they actually get it to Alderan??? Surely at the speed it actually moved it would take thousands of years to travel between Star systems .... ah .... major plot holes

The Death Star did indeed have a hyperdrive. Afterall it wasn't just a battlestation..it was actually a starship. And Ludicrous speed would be very cool indeed. As long as its plaid just like in the movie LOL

i read some where that 1,500c equals t warp 6-8 so enterprise e at warp 9.9975 is way faster borg transwarp is way faster than both and stargate hyperdrive is true drive taking only 3 weeks to get to the Pegasus galaxy where Atlantis is hmmmm cause they use a sort of wormhole not the gate to travel that fast hey heard han solo say this stuff in 1st movies so i doubt that the death star or any sdd or iss can go from earth to center of milkly way in mere seconds or minutes it would take years a little faster for trek and really quick for stargate
