Spec Torps 1 (v1.0) - File Description  


Description:
Ever wanted something different then just quantum, positron, or photon torpedoes? Well, here is a few tweaks that will give you a boost. This modification will give you a total of 44 new torpedoes. These changed weapons will change the damage rating of the weapons listed in the readme and will make them more powerful! as well as giving a wide range to choose from to add to your ships in game.

For pro modders this wont be difficult but im making this just incase

Step one: You will need to goto your computer on "My Computer" you will have to press it
Step two: Then you will have to press "Program Files" then "Activision" then "Star Trek Bridge Commander"
Step three: After you get on the Bridge commander mainfile you will need to get up the ship stats that means you will have to go to "Scripts" then "Ships" and then finally "Hardpoints"
Step four: Once you have reached this point you will want to pick the ship you want that means if you want the the file name for
e.g. Akira.py and you can open it with the notepad
Step five; Next thing is to find something similar to this:
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(0, 1000)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(0, "Tactical.Projectiles.Photon Torpedo MK X")
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(1, 500)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(1, "Tactical.Projectiles.Quantum Torpedo")
Torpedoes.SetNumAmmoTypes(2)
Step six: Their is a few ways to modify this their is to add a new one their is also
increase the arsenal of torpedoes though their is a certain amount
6.1: To add a torpedo its
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(0, 1000)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(0, "Tactical.Projectiles.Photon Torpedo MK X")
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(1, 500)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(1, "Tactical.Projectiles.Quantum Torpedo")
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(2, 500)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(2, "Tactical.Projectiles.Plasma Torpedo")
Torpedoes.SetNumAmmoTypes(3)
6.2: To increase arsenal of torpedoes
Torpedoes.SetMaxTorpedoes(0, 1500)
Torpedoes.SetTorpedoScript(0, "Tactical.Projectiles.Photon Torpedo MK X")

just keep in mind that you can only have a maximum of 4 torpedoes not in QUANTITY thats up to you
but the different TYPES of torpedoes is maxed at 4
Step seven: Now if you have done that save it close it and try it and if it works then you have just got yourself a higher damage count if not then comment
