SFPO Trooper (V2) - File Description  


Description:
Here is the Trooper class. Operating on the same ideas as the Behemoth, a competing model for federation destroyers resulted in this vessel, featuring a newer and more powerful nacelle model laying on it's side. While this resulted in faster warp speeds, the nacelles were heavier and lacked armor. The vessels is comparably armed, however. This is another remake of a classic. You'll find the superior parts and textures make this ship far prettier to look at, despite the designs odd shape.

Armament:
2x standard dual turret Phaserbanks
6x Single turret phaserbanks
4x Fwd torpedo launchers


This ship, constructed from constitution drive hulls, is a bare bones vessel used as a destroyer class.
It also serves a secondary duity as a patrol craft. It's not made for long range duity due to cramped quarters and limited supplies,
and has only a basic science pannel on it's bridge for high resolution scanning. This version was faster
at warp speeds than the trooper due to it's larger an more powerfull nacelles, however it's engines were not armored.
Using neck forms to mount the nacelles enabled slightly more space for crew accomidations and easier service
of it's engine power conduits.
