Romulan Smaller drydock - File Description  


Description:
we Present the "Starforce Productions" Romulan Repair Facility

for the Romulan Fan, you can now have a proper drydock, instead of using
the Fed. drydock, Cardiassian drydock, anything that Is not Romulan

Sure adds that air of realism.

You Will need to create a Plugg-in for the drydock to get it in-game.
You can put it in the area you like too [bases or romulan ships]

(I just wish , I had the talent for screenshot [as some of our members do] these do Not really show the beauty)

Model and textures: The fleetops armada mod (note: if the specific author would like to contact me I will get your name here strait away. So far all I've been able to determien from posting on the forums is that is yard is from the fleet ops mod. Since I don't have the mod...)

Additional info:

This shipyard is 500m long. Ideal for smaller ships such as the Raptor and various Romulan auxilary ships such as cargoships. There are tractors at each end.

You obviously have no iformation beyond a guess based on the readme and a desire to jump on the bandwagon and make an accusation of theft. 1 week comment ban.

As former staff you should know that questioning these matters in public is not permitted. While I may not remember who gave it to me, I know it wasn't you, and thus you have no right to involve yourself in the matter since you have no rights to the file. Further hassel from you will result in ban.

No author has contacted me. Untill I know for certain who made it, and talk to that person directly, I wont know. As far as I can remember, I got this directly from the author back in 2004. If it is from aramda, the author would have had to convert it for me as I had nothing that could import sod at the time. It was in sfc formatt when I ported it to BC and posted on dynaverse.net hoping someone would claim it or atleast identify it. Noone did. As far as I know there are no permission issues with these files, only an issue of forgetting who sent them too me. My msn list is too long to try and contact everyone on it to ask. For all I know, being from 2004, the person who gave them to me forgot he did so. That person would have been made aware of the BC coversion at that time, since any time I ask a modeler to convert a file or give me an armada sod in it's original 3ds formatt (same for KA and legacy) I make my intentions for using it known.

Now, bensisko has stated fleetops permission policy, which is all fine and good but doesn't answer the question of if it is even thiers. Atlantis has done nothing to help the case either, simply jumped on the bandwagon and added his 2 cents.

Additionaly, posting a comment is not "contacting me". Contacting me means just that. I am not going to entertain any discussions with anyone who is not the author of this file. All that person needs to do is give me a message or email and as soon as we can chat on msn we can have this issue solved in 5 minutes like mature individuals.

Pille, as former staff here, you know what is acceptable. Question permissions in public is not acceptable, for anyone. For some reason this rule has been removed from the rules section, I will have it replaced shortly.

As for this files "hiatus"...I was never even aware they had been taken down in the first place or why it had been done. Again, Contact me means just that. Any further immature crap in this thread will result in the deletion of posts and bans.

The permission rule will state something to the effect:

No person shal comment or question the permissions or credits of a mod in a public comment unless they are the owner of the file, or someone who was involved with the mod at some point and is therefore in a position to know what is correct. If you think something is wrong with credits or permissions, you should contact bcfiles staff, or if you are not the author, contact the author and let that person deal with it. Authors are responsible for enforcing their own rights.


When posting comments, you must follow these rules:
  1. No "Yay I got First Post!" posts, no exceptions and no matter what other content the post has!
  2. No Pornographic Material. Any sexually oriented imagery or links to such content will not be tolerated.
  3. No Warez or Illegal Software. This includes linking to software, posting about it, and suggesting to get it.
  4. No Cursing or Swear words. We encourage you to use our comment sections as a forum to debate files, news, etc., but please use proper adjectives to express yourself. We will not tolerate abuse upon another member or author.
