Description:

If that’s your judgment of this mod, then I’m sorry to inform you, but you are wrong. This is NanoFX 2.0. Even though it may be beta, but it still is the newest version out there. New warp effects are added, such as warp speed control. Also this mod will dramatically enhance the stock effects. In change giving you a whole new perception to the word “explosion”.

NanoFX 2.0 BETA
Thank you for Downloading NanoFX 2.0 BETA
NanoFX will enhance your BC Game with new or improved visual effects instead of the stock effects. Please enjoy and look forward to future NanoFX additions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bridge Commander Retail Game
- BCMI .NET
- 50 Megabytes of Free Hard Drive Space
Installation:
1. Double Click on the BC-Mod File
2. In the game, click on the “Configure” button
3. Click on the “Mutators” button
4. Turn on NanoFX 2.0 to enable the effects in game
5. Click on NanoFX Config to configure NanoFX to your preferences

If you are having problems, Select just NanoFX 2.0 as your Mutator and see if you can get into QB
Then if you can, Select one mutator in addition to NanoFX, one at a time and enter QB until you find which one is causing the Conflict
So far it looks like ATP2 and NanoFX 2.0 are not compatible.... so you'll have to use one or the other for now until ATP3 is released |

It turns out that there is an extra comment in front of the SetupMusic(pGame) command that was disabling the music engine; removing it is quick, painless, and restores it to normal. Here's hoping the author fixes this little prob in the next release... =) |

I decided to explore this further, so I turned god mode on and entered the planet and... A PLANETS CORE! but thats not all folks! when i penetrated the core i found out ther was what appeared to be an INNER CORE TOO!!! 
Good work Nanobyte! you made an unintentional mod too, Planet cores! looks like those atmospheres needed real planetary phisics to work properly.

Mind I have KM installed an the single player WILL work however it crashes ALOT so its best to save very very often. |

Freakman From: Joined: November 14th, 2005 Posts: 619 | No, NanoFX doesn't work for SP. I think someone once made a mod that allowed you to. However, I think the problem was you can play as long as you don't stop. Once you load the saved game, it'll crash. Don't trust me 100% on this since I'm not sure. I just know the mod allowed NanoFX to work in SP.
For me, my solution was to have a backup of the scripts folder from the patched version of Bridge Commander while I have another scripts folder for the heavily modded version. That way, I can play SP whenever I feel like it.
Anyways, in short, you can't play SP with NanoFX. |

I think NanoFX only works when you have a clean install of BC with the patch and foundation. If that doesn't work, try consulting the forums. |

R4gnos Joined: February 3rd, 2009 Posts: 2 | Lol @ 68. NanoFX has been out of Beta for ages mate. NanoFX2.0 is what is now in Beta testing, which DOES speak well. In fact, the original NanoFX mod revolutionised my BC game. After I installed it so I could run some of the mods I wanted, I found it to completely update the game, enough so I could start playing it again - REVAMP, RELOAD, REPLAY.
NanoFX is possibly the best mod I have installed and has turned BC modding into a sorta home project of mine. Next time, try downloading the file before you comment on its contents, Mahalamus; I recommend Nanobyte's incredible work to anyone. Keep it up, mate - I owe you a . |

ive never before had this and ive reloaded the page several times. just before it i downlaoded djcubes scroll pack for mutators. that didnt require me to log in etc.

brjanowich Joined: May 11th, 2011 Posts: 6 | Even with the sp fix installed it fails. Nanofx can only be used in QB or MP but quick battles get old as does multiplayer as there is nothing to do but fly around and shoot? Does not take long to get bored with that.
