Description:
This is a great KTinga for addition to your Klingon Fleet. It was balanced well defensively although I thought the disruptors were a little strong, taking our a Ferengi Marauder in a very short period of time. It is supposed to be more of a TMP era but it was just a little too powerful for that. Other than that though, the ship looks and handles well. As the authors first ship release, I think they've done an impressive job. Its P81's model with Quantums upgrades to it.

	Readme File: J. Schrader a.k.a Wraithzero Star Trek: Bridge Commander September 20, 2004 Klingon K'Tinga Class Battlecrusier This mod combines the script files of P81's D7TOS v1.0 mod with the Data Files of Quantum's D7 v1.0 This also includes a unique Disruptor2.py file in \scripts\tactical\projectiles. The creation of Disruptor2.py was of modifing MadJohn's Turbo Laser.py to emit a green pulse. The Hardpoint file was modified by me; Wraithzero Specifics ########################################################################## This being my first ship, I wish to let you know that my definition of "Canon" is what is Technical and what is observable. The K'Tinga is more/less a TMP era vessel. It is armed with 8 Disruptor cannons, 2 Heavy Disruptors, and 2 Photon Torpedo Launchers,(armament you'd find on a K'Tinga from Klingon Academy). Placement is such that she can be defended from all sides. The 8 disruptor cannons are the disruptor2.py file. They are smaller and do less damage, but fire rapidly The 2 heavy disruptors are standards found on BC stock models; they have been modded to fire much slower. Testing on the disruptor2 was found satisfactory, it competes well with TMP models. Against TNG models; Anything that doesn't fire back can be destroyed. Installation ************************************************* 1. Unzip K'Tinga.rar (You've already done this I hope) 2. Paste contents into your main BC Directory 3. Blow something up!!! 4. This one looks like it came straight from the game Klingon Academy, but its too powerfull to be that old. Still great ship Rock

Why are the K'Tingas green? I've never seen one green? Has anyone? Great looking ship.......just.......it's green! eek!

I don't know but the greenness on the D7 hull's was started in Star Fleet Command 1 back in 1999

Great ship, but I think in addition to the disruptors being too powerful, their recharge rate is WAY TOO HIGH. I can just sit back and constantly fire them.

Actually the D7 green color was first seen in Star Trek TMP, When the IKS Akmar and those two other D7's were engaging V'Ger. I Think it was an Influence from the Romulans, during the breif Romulan-Klingon Alliance. Anyways, Good Job, would be cool to see a Blue or Gold color too
