|Generic Bridge Module (Early TNG) (2.0) - File Description
Description:
This is version two of my Early TNG Generic bridge. Changes include some small bugfixes, lightmapping changes (so it will be a bit brighter) and general cosmetics. I have also taken the liberty of replacing the RED ALERT display to something that looks a bit more like what we saw in the various films. It's not perfect but it's better than it was in version one.
Installation is simple, this will overwrite your existing ETNG Generic or if you have not downloaded the first version, it will install the bridge so you do not have to go file hunting.

Title : Generic Bridge Module (Early TNG)
Version : 1.0
Date : 02/02/09

File description: The Generic Bridge Module Project is an effort to create "catch all" bridges that can be used
for any starship in the game. Much as Starfleet vessels use interchangeable and removeable bridge modules
in order save resources, I have done the same to save time. The bridges will have no identification of ship
name or class, it's completely up to you to imagine that they are there. Otherwise this bridge is fully stocked
with everything you could want.
This specific bridge represents the Early TNG era, from just before TNG began to Season 5. This represents vessels
such as the Challenger class, Akira class, Challenger, etc that first began to be built at the time. We are starting to see the
amber panels that were typical of The Next Generation while still seeing old displays from the TMP era.
Suitable vessels for this bridge:
-All Wolf 359 vessels
-TMP era vessels with TNG hardpoints
-Mirandas, Excelsiors, Constitutions, Centaurs, etc
-Gagarin Class (Great ship available at BCFiles)
-Korolev Class (Great ship available at BCFiles)
-Any ship you darn well please!
This bridge has animated LCARS, animated red alert klaxons, full lightmaps, and a brand new look for BC bridges.
The updated Version 2 of this bridge features enhanced and brightened lightmaps, some small fixes, and a brand
new alert screen that is strongly influenced by the actual movie screens.

You could call it that . Not quite the intent I had for it (the Yamaguchi bridge is the best for that role and I will be creating a proper "battle bridge" from that model) but the perk of this bridge is that you can use it for whatever you want.

Awesome. Now I can finally get that 007 Section 31 destroy allied Federation starships feel.

I tried installing the bridge and it didn't seem to work, thus I figured, I would remove the files and try to re-install it later, yet for aome reason, I can't remove the bridge completely, as the option remains in the bridge selection menue, despite all my efforts to remove all traces of that bridges, files, including a full reinstallation of the bridge commander program... Do you know how I could remove the bridge completely? Also are there any other files or programs that would be a pre-requisite before installing this bridge? Thanks.
