BORG CLASS 7 SCOUT SHIP
Description:
The Class 7 Borg Scout is a recent design which the collective utilizes when engaging highly maneuverable vessels. While the scout is small in its size compared to other Borg ships, it is more than capable to engage ships should it need to. The primary function of the Class 7 scout is to evaluate the tactical strength of potential threats. Any ships which are able to destroy scout class vessels are regarded as worthy targets for assimilation and larger vessels are dispatched to engage the vessel.
Class 7 Scout Tactical Analysis:
-6 Medium Cutting Beams
-1 Heavy Cutting Beam
-200 Class 3 Gravimetric Torpedos
-2 Tractor Beams
Requirements:
*Bridge Commander 1.1
*Latest Foundation (get latest BCMI, but don’t use it to install the ship!)
Installation:
DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
1) Run the BorgScout.exe and extract the files directly into your Bridge Commander main folder.
OR
2) Run the BorgScout.exe and extract the files into a temporary directory then drop the folders into your Bridge Commander folder.

MayhemUK From: Joined: August 19th, 2002 Posts: 213 | Hey guys this is one nice looking borg scout, i havent played with it yet just downloaded it, but if it plays as well as it looks then its should rock, now im wondering are there anymore borg ships to come, like the ones in the back ground of the pictures above. |
Dragon_uk20002 From: Joined: March 2nd, 2003 Posts: 498 | Those ships in the background are already released, there is only one other Borg ship that is in the works thanks to the talents of MrJohn. |
MayhemUK From: Joined: August 19th, 2002 Posts: 213 | You know what they just looked new versions of the ships, my bad, anyway if given her a try and she is a cool speedy little ship. nice work. |
Borg_Drone Joined: August 22nd, 2002 Posts: 1598 | Everything it top notch, textures and HP. Maybe a little too strong, after all its just a scout. One fed ship should be enough to destroy it.

picard131 Joined: March 22nd, 2004 Posts: 2225 | um, sorry to say, but the actual borg scout is the cone (ST: armada and voyager, I believe) |
Dragon_uk20002 From: Joined: March 2nd, 2003 Posts: 498 | Borg scouts come in all shapes and sizes...in Dark Frontier there was a scout sphere...in armada there are other stuff...
But if you read the story, it gives indication to the story behind this scout |
CaptainCook Joined: May 1st, 2005 Posts: 369 | This Borg Scout looks like the one that crashed into that planet in the TNG episode, "We are Hugh"(or whatever it was called). I like the ship a lot, except for the weapons(re-hardpointed the ship right after the first time I played as it in quickbattle) which are awkwardly-positioned and have slightly incorrect coloring. If anyone's interested in a Borg Scout hardpoint then give me a reply and I'll post it. |
Dragon_uk20002 From: Joined: March 2nd, 2003 Posts: 498 | Glad you like the ship, but please do not release a modification of the...any changes you make should be for personal use only im afraid. |
gdluque From: (Buenos Aires) Joined: June 12th, 2004 Posts: 633 | slightly incorrect coloring? awkwardly-positioned? Where from your point of view this weapons must be located and what colour must be correct for a Borg Scout? The most where located at the top of the lateral pilons, how the designer (blaxxer) of the ship request... Other way, It's a matter of TASTE. But stop saying that the weaponary it's not well designed plase.
Please, I will repeat this again: DO NOT release modifications of this ships WHIOUT permission. Keep it for your selfes. |
