Description:
Here is the 'classic' TMP fan design USS Belknap. This Belknap/Decatur concept was first seen in the fan magazine "Starship Design" cr.1984. now this ship handels like a dream in game. The hardpoints were balance to the TMP era, armed with standard TMP torpedoes and excelent firing arcs. She can hold her own even with TNG era ships.

I tested the Belknap against (2)RCR2 TNG Romulan Cruisers. You can last longer if you take manual control of the ships helm. And adjust your shields and weapons to 125%. The Belknap lasted for about 3 1/2 minuets before she met her end. The encounter was 'brutal'!

This will be a worthy ship for your Federation Fleet...

Texture enhancements: GAFY?
Conversion to BC/hp's: Starforce2

Armament: Same as a standard Constitution, except it has 2 single turrets ventrally on the engennering hull instead of 2 dual turret emitters, and no aft torpedo.

2 saucer textures come in 1024x1024. 512x512 for those are in the 512 folder. Low res for all are in the 256x256 folder.
