Version 20090919

This Mod tries to prevent some major in-game crashes in Bridge Commander (BC).


This file directly comes from Kobayashi Maru 2010.02 (KM 2010.02):
If you already have KM 2010.02 there is no need to install this.

This is for the people that don't want to install the fat KM Mod Pack for any reason:
However I still recommend to install KM since it additionally includes lots of other (crash-) fixes!

Tips:

When having "Deep Space Nine FX" installed I recommend to turn off the option "Stabilize BC".
This option enabled may make BC act worse.

I dropped this in my KM 1.0 install (which doesn't have it either)...this is the FIRST time I've had Gravity FX actually kick in on my 1.0 install! it seems to also tweak the torps into launching better (which I noticed with KM '10). if this lets the computer fly no-torpedo ships, I'll be all set.

@6 personally i think KM 1.0 is better. its like UU mod from legacy, the new version may be better, but nothing replaces the good old version.

I have a double install.. one with 1.0, and one with '10. i use 10 for betas, 1.0 for play. i've got plenty of stuff on the burner, and need a double.

killallewoks, actually I programmed lots of crashes into all the BC scripts, so one day I can release this mod wink

one problem im noticing with this is that it seems to be interacting with explosion animations, when a ship is blowing up, you dont get any of the interment explosions, just a big one at the end

It says in the readme that if DS9FX is installed the "Stabilize BC" option should be turned off if this mod is installed; can you specify whether this requirement applies to both 3.0 & Xtended, or one or the other?

If I recall correctly they were the number one source for crashes. A few should still be there.

Havn't checked, but I guess both versions are equal there.
