Description:
This is the new BCMI. Before you download, you either need to do a windows update, or download this file (also obtainable from windows update) Otherwise you will not be able to use the program.

Thank you for Downloading BC-Mod Installer .NET
BCMI .NET will install BC-Mod Files into your game. This program will also Uninstall BC-Mod files you install into your game.
REQUIRMENTS:
- .NET Framework Runtime files
- Bridge Commander Retail Game.
- Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP Operating System
- 2 Megs of Free Hard Drive Space
Installation:
1. Install .NET Framework from Windows Update (REQUIRED)
2. Run Setup.exe…
3. Install Bridge Commander - Mod Installer into the Folder of your Choice
4. Once installation is Complete run the Program.
BCMI .NET Features:
- Install BC-Mod (*.BCMod) Files
- Uninstall BC-Mod (*.UnBCMod) Files
- Extraction to Default BC Folder or a Custom Folder or your choice

.NET has increased BCMI's performance by 200-300% because of its new File Streaming Functions
And a lot of the Drawing Functions have been revised and its much easier for me to animate my Buttons
VB .NET has a ton of new features that VB 6.0 can't do. |

Posts: 364 | .net is a new MS framework, YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL .NET SUPPORT FOR THIS PROGRAM TO WORK.
I do not expect to see anymore queries about the .net requirment. |

Either way, if you didn't do the update or don't download the requirement we don't want to here you complain. It's quite plainly stated in the file description, there's no excuse. |

Posts: | .NET will be used a lot in future, not just in BCMI, so you should download the Framework now instead of waiting for Windows Longhorn to include it.
Also, if you got Windows XP SP1 on CD, there should be the .NET Framework on the disc.
The use of .NET does reduce the file size quite a bit, in case you haven't noticed. |

Posts: 7 | I just got a new computer and am reinstalling the files on it. When I installed this BCMI and tried to run it, it gives me an error message saying that the application fails to initialize. I have the latest .net framework, and a friend of mine in software development says that there must be some bug in the program. Did anoyone hear of this before? |

Posts: | HEy, ive had poblems with BCMP cos it says it has installed but it aint there, so i turned 2 BCMI which sounds better,....BUT! when i got anxious installing it, i ran the program 2 find there was a missing DLL!!!!! please could you tell me where i can find this missing file!! or sumhow create it!? |

Posts: 2 | I've installed framework v2.0 but when BCMI was installed it can't add any MOD right.Like intrepid or scimitar.The shi's Icon dosen't show up(but I can see some sorts of shadow).The BCMP can't test files which BCMI intalled.When use vessels installed by BCMI the game will crash.I really want this staff work so can some tell me what's going wrong? |

I have tried every combo known to man for this sh** (clean install, patch, mod| CLean Install, Mod) and you know what happens every freakin time I follow you instructions TO THE LETTER i load STBC and it comes up with a black screen with the stbc curser and NEVER LOADS
this is crap. What is going on? This is not just your mod packager, this is ANYTHIGN that changes that stupid game. |
